Steel and glass home near Hannover, Germany

There is a high degree of perfectionism and discipline in this house. The floors are all of the same grey stone tiles, inside and out. There are no visible internal doors, just partitions of glass that slide into the walls. Even the roof-garden is planted in immaculate blocks of gentle colour. Furniture includes modern classics from Le Corbusier, Spencer Fung, Eames and Christian Liaigre. Frank Gehry's cardboard chair stands at the foot of the bed.
