Although the property was Listed, Claire and David were able to maximise its potential by making a few essential changes. They took down some of the ceilings to create a better room height, removed a wall to connect the bedroom to the dressing room, updated the wiring and plumbing, added new bathrooms, and installed an Aga. Essentially, they shook up the whole place, and gave it a fresh, new look. Claire, who has a passion for interiors and had revamped four properties already, knew exactly what she wanted to do to the interior. She wanted to create a different mood in each room, but also keep a sense of continuity, so she chose the same paint shade throughout the house.
