The large uncomplicated space in this architecturally designed two-storey Auckland townhouse didn't suit the furniture its English owners initially had. So they started afresh, choosing designer pieces in black, white and beige to complement the homes neutral interior tones. Contemporary art and carefully chosen objects transform the light-filled spaces. An eclectic selection of pieces procured on Neil and Wendy's frequent trips abroad lend a cosmopolitan flavour to the interior. In summer, the living areas are almost doubled in size as floor-to-ceiling doors slide back to reveal a modern, tailored garden, complete with all-weather lounge furniture and water feature.
