Finding the perfect period country house for their growing family was no mean feat for Charlie and Louisa, but when eventually they stumbled upon the right one, their long wait was worthwhile. Their house is Grade 2 Listed, dates back to 1806, with the drawing room and master bedroom above added in 1902. It is in Northeast Oxfordshire, has five bedrooms and sits in a plot of just under one acre. It was in late June 2009 that the couple moved in, to enjoy their first glorious summer in their country home. But they didn’t have much time to put their feet up. Having a new home or a new baby sent Louisa‘s nesting instinct went into a frenzy of home improvements.
