Six miles away from the dreaming spires of Oxford is a well-kept secret. A vast stretch of unspoilt farmland stretching to the horizon, upon which sits a little house, home to Sarah Grey. ‘When I tell people that I live in the middle of nowhere, a few miles from Oxford, they think I’m joking, ’ laughs Sarah Grey, who was as surprised as anyone at the discovery of this hidden gem of a spot. A long long dusty track weaves its way out of the nearest village and after a mile or two peters out at little house, sitting alone with little but the sounds of nature disturbing its peace. An impertinent hare was casually nibbling in the garden on the morning of Sarah’s first visit, and her mind was made up.
